  About Bygfoot Football Manager
A football manager simulation game.

Bygfoot allows you to manage a team by administering players' fitness, stadium capacity and conservation, team formation, team playing style, player hiring and firing, etc. If you are successful you can become a champion. Else you will be fired after some time.

The game is based on "country files" in XML format that you can customise to reflect your own country's leagues. There are also "team definitions" you can write to have the teams you know of play with their actual formations.

Bygfoot is quite mature and has been successfully compiled on several Linux and Unix systems and even on Windows. It should be compatible with any OS where GTK+2, pango, unicode, libc and glib are available.

Requirements
This application requires GTK+ version 2.6.x. Other dependencies include:
atk, glib, freetype2, pango, pkg-config, zip

  Latest Version: 2.3.2
Bygfoot is a small and simple graphical football (a.k.a. soccer) manager game featuring many international leagues & cups. You manage a team from one such league: you form the team, buy & sell players, get promoted or relegated and of course try to be successful.

- added Turkish translation, news and hints (thanks to Cem Uykun)
- updated Turkish player names, commentaries (thanks to Cem Uykun)

- added Danish news file (thanks to Joe Dalton)
- added more meaning to autosave filenames (user, country etc.)
- added W-L-D and cup round robin rank info to the next opponent view
- added possibility to edit player names in the second player list
- corrected some supercup definition errors which resulted in crashes
- foul probabilities in the live game are more sophisticated now
- added a simple GUI for editing Bygfoot constants in the preferences (enabling users to fine-tune the game)
- there is an option to store the order of your team, this order will be restored after a match
