This release improves support for additional fields in Sub Station Alpha and Extended SubRip formats. These fields are still not editable, but their values are now preserved. Editing files with different character encodings is now easier as the preview feature always uses UTF-8 character encoding by default. Gaupol is now registered to handle various subtitle file mimetypes. PyGTK dependency has been raised to 2.12 or greater. A lot of small feature enchancements have been added and lots of bugs have been fixed, see the news file [1] for a more comprehensive list.
