Lightweight XMMS2 client features very simple user interface.
LXMusic is a very simple gtk+ XMMS2 client written in pure C. It has very few functionality, and can do nothing more than play the music. The UI is very clean and simple. This is currently aimed to be used as the default music player of LXDE (Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment) project. LXDE is a new project aimed to provide a new desktop environment with faster speed and less resoruce usage.
Requirements
This application requires GTK+ version 2.12.x.
Other dependencies include:
xmms2-core (0.5DrLecter),
libxmmsclient (0.5DrLecter),
libxmmsclient-glib (0.5DrLecter)

A major rewrite of the original program. LXMusic now supports xmms2 0.5 DrLecter.
The user interface is re-designed.
Major Changes:
1. Use latest stable release of xmms2.
2. Support multiple playlists.
3. Add a case insensitive filter to locate music files in the list.
4. Support adding file/folders to playlist with drag & drop.
5. UI redesign
6. Show currently played track in bold font.
7. Show popup notifications for currently played track when the main window is minimized to tray. (need libnotify & its notify-send command)
