Open source replacement for Asus Launcher of EeePC
This is designed for Asus EeePC. (See the screenshot)
LXLauncher is part of LXDE project (Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment: http://lxde.org/). It's designed for Asus EeePC as an open source replacement for Asus Launcher included in EeePC provided by Xandros. LXLauncher is standard-compliant and desktop-independent. It follows freedesktop.org specs, so newly added applications will automatically show up in the launcher, and vice versa for the removed ones.
Drop the limited Asus launcher and try LXLauncher today! Cheers!
Requirements
This application requires GTK+ version 2.12.x.
Other dependencies include:

* Temporarily disable background image due to some bugs.
Although gnome-menu library is used, it doesn't have other gnome dependencies and its implementation is clean. So this is acceptable
So, don't yell at me and ask why I add gnome dependencies to LXDE because there is no gnome dependency. It's just a small library which unfortunately has gnome in its name.
If installing gnome-menu library gives you a lot of gnome dependencies, complain to the packagers of your distro because it's caused by incorrect packaging.
