PGID3 is an ID3v1 and ID3v2 tag editor written in PHP.
Written in PHP using the PHP-GTK2 module to create a clean and simple user interface for tag manipulation. It also has integration with QueryXMMS to interact with the media player XMMS.
All the operating code is custom to this application to run with the smallest dependancy footprint as possible, even the most basic of PHP compiles should be able to run it.
Installs and runs on both Linux and Windows.
Requirements
This application requires GTK+ version 2.10.x.
Other dependencies include:
PHP5, Recent GTK2, PHP-GTK2 module.

Drag-and-drop functionality was added. An MP3 can be dragged from your file manager onto the main window and PGID3 will open the tags for that file. PGID3 is also now able to store the Track field, bringing the ID3v1 support up to Spec 1.1. (The ID3v2 support was already able to handle this.) The GUI was rewritten. Lots of internal cleanups were performed.
