| About ukop |
Ukop is a file copy / backup utility for disk backup media, esp. USB thumb drives or other removable disk-like devices.
Select directories or files to include or exclude at any level, using a GUI navigator. Save selections in a job file for recurring use. Backup method is incremental (only new and modified files are copied) and needs less than a minute for a typical daily backup of personal files. Optionally, previous file versions can be retained instead of being overwritten, and retention time and/or no. of retained versions can be set for each group of included files. Report differences between backup and disk files at file, directory, and job levels. Backup and restore functions include owner and permissions, even if backup device uses a Microsoft file system. A set of files on multiple computers can be kept synchronized with a USB stick or other removable storage.
Requirements
This application requires GTK+ version 2.8.x.
