| About Gimmix |
Gimmix is a graphical music player daemon (MPD) client written in C using GTK+2. It's very simple and easy to use, yet offers many features to make your audio experience a pleasant one.

NOTE: If you're upgrading from an older version of gimmix, (eg 0.2) then please delete your ~/.gimmixrc before running gimmix. This is because the configuration file layout has been changed in the new version.

Requirements
This application requires GTK+ version 2.8.x.
Other dependencies include:
* libglade-2.6.0 or higher
* libmpd >= 0.17.0
The tag-editor plugin requires:
* taglib-1.4 (C bindings) [optional]
The lyrics and cover fetcher plugins require the following additional packages:
* libnxml
* libcurl
