I posted a help request on Fedora Forums...
http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?p=860433
Hopefully someone will help us, because this a killer-app for people who prefer the keyboard for window management. |

Incredibly Useful |
| By Andre Pinheiro (IP: 89.181.66.---) - Posted on 2007-06-13 22:29:55 |
This app is incredibly useful!
I really don't understand why an utility like this doesn't come by default with every OS...
...Maybe in the future, it will come with Gnome? ;)
Thank you very much for this!

RE: Self-define hotkeys? |
| By Nigel Tao (IP: 203.36.98.---) - Posted on 2007-01-11 01:22:43 |
I haven't provided a way to configure the hotkeys since, unsurprisingly, I like the defaults. If you have any ideas for improvement, please feel free to suggest them.
Of course, since it's all open source, you could just change the code in popup.c (look for popup_on_key_press). |

RE: Two little problems |
| By Nigel Tao (IP: 65.57.245.---) - Posted on 2006-04-18 02:16:45 |
First, yeah, my presumption was that if you have Xinerama, you also have access to a full size keyboard. The keybinding might change in the future (note that Super-Home and Super-End are not yet used). Other keybinding changes might be more radical, especially if I want to support more than one row of workspaces (and those bizarre Thinkpads without a Super key).
Second, I'm sorry, but I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Could you possibly clarify? |

Two little problems |

Hello,
This application is cooooooooool!!!!!!!!!
First:
The new Xinerama feature is cool, but i have a notebook with one Super key.
Second:
When a window follow the working desktop, superswitcher always show that window in the first desktop, and clicking on, go to the first desktop, not the current.
Regards. |

RE: autogen.sh (configure) bombs |

Sorry, but I don't run Fedora myself (Ubuntu 5.10, FWIW). I suspect that you need some sort of xorg-devel or x11-dev rpm installed. Perhaps you should ask a Fedora users forum? |

autogen.sh (configure) bombs |
| By Anonymous (IP: ---.coxfiber.net) - Posted on 2006-03-08 16:49:01 |
When using the autogen.sh script, after it starts configure it looks for some libs. Configure bombs with the following:
---------------
checking for SUPERSWITCHER... configure: error: Package requirements (glib-2.0
gdk-2.0
libwnck-1.0
x11)
were not met:
No package 'x11' found
----------------
This is under Fedora Core 4 latest with gnome-common-2.12.0-1.fc4.

This is sooooo cool... I've wished for a "find as you type" task switcher before, and this is even better than anything I had imagined. Thanks for writing Superswitcher, and I'll be looking forward to its future. :) |

Focus should switch when you press Enter. If there's only one match, then Enter will focus that match. If there's more than one match, then pressing Enter will cycle through those windows that match. Shift-Enter will go the other way. |

gnome-autogen.sh *is* shipped with Fedora Core 2, Fedora Core 3 and Fedora Core 4 as well as the current development branch. Please install the "gnome-common" package. |

wont compile |
| By martin (IP: ---.wincor-nixdorf.com) - Posted on 2006-01-02 13:32:21 |
Hi,
the current version can't be build on fedora core3. autogen.sh is searching for gnome-autogen.sh which is not shipped with fedora.
best regards |
