Tried |

Tried this pre-release self compiled and menu load faster with libmenu-cache... But i have some question about some plugins:
termal: i have w83627hf chip and can't figured out how this works, i tried to write that in plugin settings, but no avail.
xkb: I use 'en_US' localization and got this when i put this plugin to panel, but i have and use 'de' keyboard, also must to switch to 'hr'. Don't know what to edit?
And some general and weird bugs:
When i restart computer from lxde or gnome and first go to lxde = lxpanel's menu not appear. I must every time excute
'lxpanelctl restart' to have a menu and that works. If i first go to gnome and then lxde, lxpanel's menu is immediately there.
I also tried lxsession-edit and lxshortcut. Lxshortcut don't work or i dont know how to use, if i execute 'lxshortcut' nothing happens... With lxsession-edit i turn on 'update-notifier' and it appear in panel, after logout or computer restart, but once when update-notifier is loaded, i can't do 'lxpanelctl restart' what i must because "menu not appear", if i execute this panel starts
blinking in loop, fonts in terminal also, this must be because of 'update-notifier'... then i must delete lxpanel settings to have new panel. |

auto-hide |

This is one excellent panel. Thanks for your work on this!
If you could add the option to auto-hide, it would be just perfect. |

Would love to see an auto-hide option for the panel. Otherwise it'd be a 10. |

I'm using lxpanel on an HP laptop (nc6220). The battery monitor shows "no batteries found". What do I need to read battery status?
Thanks. |

RE: RE: Logout |

I'm having the same issue, even though I've specified a command in ~/.config/lxpanel/default/config and in /usr/share/lxpanel/default/config. I have worked around it by linking lxsession-logout to my script (sudo ln -s /usr/bin/lxsession-logout /home/eriq/.poweroptions), but I shouldn't have to do that. The config file's being read correctly, since the "Panel Preferences" shows the right information, it's just not being invoked properly by the menu. |

Hi, there is a bug in the panel on the Application Launch Bar applet, if i click with the right button of the mouse in this applet and click in "Application Launch Bar" Settings button and change something theses changes will not apply, the only way to apply is openinng this window in the old way Panel Settings > Panel Applets > Application Launch Bar > Edit.
Thanks |

tray icon |
| By Eduardo (IP: ---.fnsce703.dsl.brasiltelecom.net.br) - Posted on 2008-05-25 18:20:26 |
Hey PCman i think i found a bug or something like that, it's on the tray icon, when the image of a program on the tray change a little (example: the tray image of a IM program change when you go offline ou away) something strage occurs to her, it's dificult to explain cause what occrus is a little random, so i take a screenshot of my tray to you see what i'm talking about:
http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/1216/screenshotee1.png
as you can see there is some problem with the emesene, liferea and transmission icon and nothing with the parcelite icon (because the parcelite never change their icon).
I can reproduce this bug in my pc (have composite actived) and in my family pc (no composite).
Sorry if this is a known bug.
Thanks in advance! |

lxpanel not show with compiz |
| By Gavcheg (IP: ---.pppoe.avangarddsl.ru) - Posted on 2008-05-13 22:37:52 |
I use compiz-fusion and lxsession-lite. my lxsession autostart is:
@pcmanfm -d
@lxpanel
and config:
[Session]
window_manager=compiz --replace --sm-disable --ignore-desktop-hints ccp --loose-binding --indirect-rendering
Boot & working compiz etc, lxpanel not show, but loaded and running.
If i change "config":
[Session]
window_manager=compiz-fusion
lxpanel show and all fine. |
